Welcome to Infinitos Mundos! We are an alternate history roleplay site, where players can choose their nation and roleplay all aspects of that nation, including diplomacy, economics, and military.
Alternate history is a type of Speculative Fiction (sometimes called "Uchronia" or "Anachronism") set in a world where one or more historical events unfolded differently than they did in the real world. Often set some time after the event (called a "point of divergence", or PoD, by fans of the genre), such stories typically describe a present day world vastly changed by the difference, or follow another major historical event in light of the change.
Alternate history involves asking what if? What if the Byzantine Empire survived? What if Rome never fell? What if the 13 colonies lost the American Revolution? What if the French Revolution never happened? Players are encouraged to come up with their own alternate history to answer what if for their chosen nation. These questions lead to an infinite world of possibilities. Welcome to Infinitos Mundos!
