Maha Ghosananda rolls his eyes, "Sure, you promise to look into the offenses caused only after we tell you about them personally. Tell me, did you know of them before, or are you only making these promises now because the issue has gotten to an uncontrollable level? How many other issues are you putting off until later? And as to your own history, you seem wilfully ignorant of it." He pauses to look at the cameras. "This too should serve as a warning, if he is ignorant in this, what else is he ignorant in?"

Thích Hoằng Thâm shrugs. "If the Muslims in Aceh wanted to implement Sharia law, would you let them? You spin a good tale, but really, is there any truth to it? We protest because we have yet to see any action from your government, except for the violence perpetrated against out people. You talk about the bombings of the churches, but again, we have told you that we are not responsible. We are peaceful. If you refuse to believe us, then why should we believe you and your empty promises? You want to stop our protests and negotiate? Then, again I say, tell me why we should believe you."

The Buddhist monks continue their protests, still peacefully. But many non-monks would start to block roads and access to public buildings. Some are starting to get frustrated with the "lies" of the government and would begin chanting and telling anyone who would listen about the lies of the government. A few regular Buddhists (ie not monks) would start committing casual acts of vandalism.

Simmering discontent amongst the general Buddhist populations would likely begin to get worse as government propaganda increases, with some violence beginning to occur.

[feel free to state how the locals would respond]

Three Buddhist monks with suicide vests beneath flowing robes would approach a church in Can Tho, prepared to blow it up. If they are stopped, they would detonate their bombs early. If they make it inside, they would wait for the service to start, before blowing themselves up.

Five Buddhists dressed in non-descript baggy clothes, with suicide vests underneath, enter the Cathedral of the Diocese of Can Tho for the evening mass. Once inside, they would wait until the service starts, and then blow themselves up, likely taking out a good chunk of the church with them. One would make a run for the local bishop, hoping to take him out as well.
