Mitshibishi F-15JSE Prototype Takes first flight

Today the first test aircraft for the Super Eagle program conducted a brief 15 minutes initial flight. During this flight the aircraft tested the engine functionality, engaging the afterburner for 60 seconds while testing the engines thrust directional vectoring system. The flight was successful and Mithshibishi will be conducting several more in the coming days as the second test aircraft is being produced.
