Infinitos Mundos Sport Interest Thread

Hi to all the Infinitos Mundos RPers! I'm guessing if you're in the nation roleplaying community, you've inevitably heard of this forum called NationStates. On this forum there is a thriving sport community, and I was wondering if anyone would be interested in starting one up here too. This is just a thread to get an idea of if you'd be interested, so if you are, please reply and I'll set up a football World Cup-style tournament if there's enough interest, and if it's ok with the mods. Hope this is ok!

As for the football tournament, how were you thinking of running it? I think it could be a great way to engage players and encourage activity.

I have an excel based scorinator called IFCF that we can use to scorinate games or if we have a different host they can use a scorinator of their choice (xkoranate, NSFS etc.) As for the structure, it depends how many people sign up really. We can either have a straight knockout, or if enough people are interested, we can put in a group stage. RP bonuses will apply and people will be able to submit rosters and RP the matchdays as they are scorinated. I think this would probably belong in the Statescraft forum.

That definitely sounds promising, I have no issues with you starting up something like that if there is enough interest. I could probably make a sub-forum for the world cup as well.
