Japan has made a formal request to the Sabmadi Federation for a diplomatic dialogue specifically on the topic of free trade and an opening up of Japanese exports to the nation.

The Federation's foreign affairs minister agrees to open a dialogue with the Japanese, and such a dialogue can be held in either embassy at the convenience of the Japanese government.

Japan would like to host the Federations minister at the Japanese embassy.

By midday, the Federation's Foreign Minister, Jalisat Sharif arrives at the Japanese Embassy and makes his way into the meeting. "As-salamu alaykum, Ambassador. To what do I owe the pleasure?"
