As a South American nation with a history in the region, Lusitania maintains interest in the region of Uruguay. While not strictly seeking to annex the area, the coast and natural bay is important to the military security and diplomatic success of the Lusitain state. Seeking to reach out to our neighbours, the Republic of Lusitain recognizes @Argentina 's interest in the region as well. In order to avoid a diplomatic incident in the future, we invite Argentina to meet in the neutral Uruguayan city of Montevideo to discuss the future of our two nations, trade, partnership, and South America as a whole.

The Argentinian Consulate in Curitiba has been contacted and President-General Dias is eager to hear Argentina's response.

The Argentine government responds to the invitation, instead offering to host the meeting in Buenos Aires instead of in Montevideo due to concerns over the security of such a meeting.

The government of Lusitania is amendable to this. Our delegates will arrive in Buenos Aires shortly. We thank you for your willingness to cooperate.

(We can skip to the meeting)

The Vice President of the republic will meet the delegates as they arrive to the place of meeting, the San Martín Palace. Reaching out his hand to for a handshake the Vice President would greet the delegates.

"Welcome to Buenos Aires, friends. I hope your trip here was well. I am Mateo Rodríguez, Vice President of the Republic."

Delegate Ciriaco Fontes takes the handshake firmly. He is flanked by two more delegates as well as two security personnel. The car they came from drives off.

“Thank you for agreeing to meet with us Mr. Vice President. Lusitania extends it congratulations towards your ability to keep peace here- first time in awhile diplomats like us were able to travel here in peace.”

He laughs. Smiling at the Vice President. Sitting down at the table along with the other delegates.
