with a new proposal from the Engineers at Carleton University the Queen of the Skies or Boeing 747 will have a new purpose with the Atomic Alliance, with the last Commercial 747 being produced on December 6, 2022, the Atomic Alliance will begin to work on a new variant for the jumbo.

The new Variant will be produced utilizing an existing Boeing 747-8F, the Engineers intend to enlarge the fuselage of the aircraft to a similar extent as the Dreamliner without the opening tail. Furthermore, the Carleton Engineers opted to remove the GEnx-2B67 engines and replace them with ContraProp ECR-11E with an estimated 5000Kw per Engine, two per Engine, One per shaft. Once these design changes are finalized orders will be provided to the Aircraft Maintenance personnel and Fabrication Contractors to begin work on redesigning the 747-8F into the next KC-X Design for the Atomic Alliance, the first Aerial Refueling Aircraft.

The CANDU-ISMR/5 Has arrived at the North Bay Airbase, Technicians will begin working on the installation of this Reactor into the Centre of the 747's Fuselage. Furthermore, it has been determined since the MTOW of the Baseline 747 Dreamlifter is 396,890kg and the Reactor weighs 230,000kg, the Empty Operating weight of the aircraft will now be 405,000kg. Therefore, the Atomic Alliance has decided to modify the wing structure, it will be expanded outwards and in length to increase its lifting capability, and the planned extension is to reach 88.4m with a wing area of 905m2. This will result in an increase of MTOW to 650,000kg and 245,000kg left for Additional fuel in the bladders or other installations.

Landing gears must also be reinforced to handle the additional weight, this will add an extra 5,000kg to the Empty Operating Weight.

The speed of this aircraft will also be impacted, operating at a maximum speed of 300kn//555km/h and cruising at 250kn//463km/h

The ContraProp ECR-11E will operate at 8952KW each, consuming a total of 107.424MW

CANDU-ISMR/5 Installation = 50%
Aircraft Gantry (Cockpit+Quarters>Refueling Bay) = 63%
Fuel Bladders (Remaining space) = 40%
Wing Replacement = 10%

With the installation of the ISMR/5 and newly designed wings, the mechanics will begin to install the Condensor Tubing for the PWT system of the ISMR. With no fuel held in the wings, the tubing will have more space to be exposed to the cooling winds found during flight and from the turbines

Mechanics will continue to work on installing the Condensor path, meanwhile, Engineers have begun stress testing the landing gear and new wings as much as possible while the aircraft is on the ground in an attempt to predict how it will react in flight.
