As announced long ago, we will finally start seismic surveys, both onshore and offshore. This first, of many steps for the full use of oil and natural gas deposits in the region. This first of many steps to come for the full use of the region's oil and natural gas deposits represents a reactivation of the sector, once paused by the wars of independence and formation of the nation of Agartha.
According to Lukas Watkins, Minister of Energy, there is previous geological stratification data that needs to be confirmed and updated by the current administration before further action can be taken, but he is quite optimistic about the upcoming results. And it similarly confirmed the existence of "some" abandoned exploration wells already drilled that with a little maintenance could even speed up the process substantially.
While optimistic Mr Watkins calls for calm and composure until an official announcement is made, other branches of government appear not to have received the same memo as he, and as General Menken begins to reorganize and mobilize various garrisons and the Investigation Department of Minister Tsoi opens calls to train and certify compatriots in positions suspiciously related to the hydrocarbons industry.
For now, we can only begin to prepare when the day comes when these barely-revealed efforts begin to pay off.
