The economies of Minnesota @The Rust Republic and @New England are inseparably linked. Resources and Manufacturing flow from Minnesota and the Rust Republic, to the vast markets of New England along the lakes that hold us all together. However, transportation between the three economies is often bloated and confused. With no easy way to interchange goods at the border, or between companies, the cost of transport is unacceptably high. To this end, The Rust Republic and New England are invited to send representatives to St. Paul in order to discuss an agreement on free trade, and a consolidated transportation company.

Secretary of State, George H. W. Bush will attend the meeting on behalf of the Commonwealth of New England.

Secretary of State, Cyrus Vance will attend the meeting on behalf of The Midwest.

Both nations representatives are greeted by President Mondale at the capitol building in St Paul. A room has been made ready for the occasion, with flags from the 3 countries adorning the room. "Welcome to Minnesota gentlemen, please have a seat, we have much to discuss."

Secretary Bush takes his seat and leans back in his chair slightly, removing his glasses to toy with in his hands.
Indeed we do. Myself, President Rockefeller and New England at large are hopeful for this meeting.

Secretary Vance takes his seat, clasping his hands together and resting them on the table in front of him. "Much indeed, we in The Midwest have high hopes for what we will accomplish here today."
