With efforts in the North Sea stalling and the trepidation in engaging with the American nation states limited to costal and former Canadian territories, having arrangements and relations within as many nations as possible could only benefit the Commonwealth, not to mention the recent developments with the Dutch territories starting to cause disruptions.
With this in mind, the foreign minister alongside a military attaché in the form of the captain of the Tilbury Class missile cruiser ‘BCS Tradsmore’ as was tradition, with the navy’s influence over British history.
Trade and a possible defensive alliance could be on the table, alongside access to British Gas and Oil resources, even including licenses for military equipment, dependant on how things go, but trade was the main driver of the talks.
