I think for the first one, to set it up properly, it will be hosted in various cities around Siam. After that when we all have a better idea of how it works, people will be able to submit bids to host. I'll release a list of stadiums and their descriptions when the roleplay thread goes up.

Now here's a question for all of you. Infinitos Mundos is based on our world, but is also different. Following on from that, should we ban people from having real world famous footballers (i.e. Messi, Ronaldo, Salah) and have each country have their own "made-up" team? (Like on NationStates)

I mean, we would realistically do this with some form of dice roll mechanic yes? That seems to be the only fair way to do it. If that's so, then having IRL players on your national team won't make a difference

It will be scorinated with a scorinator spreadsheet (which you can find here.

I guess Self made characters would be fair bc nations like the Balkan union thing and Frankophonen would be too OP and nations like Mayapahit and Siam or San Romero etc would like have no chance at the beginning bc of less good football players yk (No front) this is why I like the Self made player idea more so everyone have an chance of winning

I agree, and that's what I was thinking. Right then, no real world players may be used in your applications when the time comes. I will put that in the roster thread to remind you.

It shouldnt be a problem anyway but you do have it set to view only, so nobody should be able to edit

It's not originally my spreadsheet, someone much more clever than me on the NationStates forum made it and shared it with the community.

Since the signups seem to have slowed down, I've decided I'm going to put the Roster Thread up now a few weeks in advance. The sign-ups will still stay open til the 17th, and the competition will start a week later on the 24th, to give everyone a chance to get their rosters in. I'll put up the roster thread later tonight.
Also, 22 is a really awkward number because then it means we either have no group stage or two groups of 11. If no one else signs up we may need more NPCs to bump it up to 24.
