A trip across the pond!

Following the sale of Southern Ontario to the Great Lakes, they would see an influx of returning citizens at their Land, Sea, and Air borders along with many Atomic Citizens looking to visit upon the new Visa Agreements.

In the Airports, they would see some individuals holding Great Lake Passports who are dressed casually and remaining to themselves, typically on an electronic device to avoid direct contact. Once they reach the Primary Inspection Booth they would provide their passports diligently almost as if it was practiced, along with their declaration cards and Proof of Sale (25 of this type). Others would be Atomic Citizens declaring Tousim and traveling in groups of 4, resembling the Nuclear Family, these kids would be grumpy and noisy, and others would be alone and remaining to themselves, once at the Primary Booth they will present their passports which appear legitimate and declaration card for Tourism. (40 of this type). 6 would be holding Foreign Passports from European countries and acting very calmly, each would have all their documentation ready for the inspector.

At Land Borders, persons would be arriving in Fords or AtomCars and light colors, groups of 2, and all documents would be prepared prior to arrival at the Primary Booth (15 of these exist). Others would be Atomic Citizens in a similar fashion but in various brands. 4 cars of Two would be holding Foreign Passports from European countries and acting very calmly, each would have all their documentation ready for the inspector along with previous flight records into the Alliance (Tickets)

Those arriving to the Great Lakes Republic with Great Lakes passports would have have their passports and proof of sale forms checked. If they came back clean, they would be permitted to enter. Of the 25, around 6 of them would be pulled aside for further questioning. The questions would range from 'why did you decide to sell' to 'where is your final destination within the Great Lakes?' Two of them would be asked to provide proof that they had the means to support themselves within the Republic.

The remaining Atomic citizens at the airports would be permitted into the nation without any issues.

Those arriving in almost identical cars (if only in colour scheme), would be allowed into the country without issues. However if they were all in a line together at the same crossing they would encounter obvious issues. The remaining citizens wouldn't have any issues entering the country.

Of the 6 Great Lake passport holders out of 25 that were pulled aside and questioned, Three passports in the system would indicate a discrepancy showing that 3/6 travelers have Identical Passport Numbers (John and Louise). Others would provide answers to the questions seamlessly almost as if they were rehearsed.

All 19 Passport holders would disappear into the country as they leave the airport, each boarding different busses to different small towns in the rural country. If the Great Lakes government ever investigated these 19 persons they would also discover their names and DOBs match no known Tax/Home/Birth records in the country. The other 3/6 would do the same if they got out of the airport.

Out of all the Atomic Citizens who entered the country during this time period of influx, only 4 would not be documented returning to the Alliance, no record of Immigration exists for these persons.

The 4 cars of Two holding Foreign Passports (8 total) would also not return to leave the country and no documentation of immigration would be seen in the Great Lakes. These persons would be in the rural countryside with no exact location (Constantly moving) and would not be working (this includes the Airport travelers too (Not Working))

The 3 travelers with identical passports would be detained while their plight is investigated. This would basically include rerunning the passports through the system, if they were still identical, they would be denied entry and returned to the Atomic Alliance. The rest, although their answers would be unusual, would be allowed through.

Faced with an influx of returnees, the Great Lakes Republic would not have the resources currently to investigate the missing persons. The would report the situation to the Alliance, providing photos and details for the missing civilians, and posting information online, but beyond that they would do nothing further. If asked, their official response would be "we have tens of thousands of undocumented migrants from the south, another 22 aren't going to make any difference."

The other people who entered the nation and did not leave would be given the same treatment as the missing Alliance citizens.

The three would continue to be identical, upon contacting the Alliance they would accept the returning migrants stating they also do not have any forms of Atomic ID with them, however, they will hold them in confinement for further investigation in the Great Lakes is unable to at this time. Furthermore, they would thank the Great Lakes government for the information on the missing Atomic Citizens and state they have contacted their families and will watch any financials.

Those who made it into the nation would spread out into Rural areas and make themselves at home, those with Great Lakes Passports will also obtain a home and a job, starting to make a life for themselves and a strong backstory, and the Atomic Citizens and Foreigners will await mail sent through postal of fake documents (Birth Certificates and Drivers License), these items will be hidden in PlayStations and computers and disguised under electronic components so it does not stand out (Large amount of seeable objects in X-Ray, hidden between components), once obtained they will start making a life for themselves, obtaining a job and a home, making friends and a backstory.

Officials from the Great Lakes would ask the Atomic Alliance why those three people were allowed into the Alliance in the first place, given that they do not have Atomic IDs. The officials thank the Atomic officials, but state that they will hold the three men themselves. Photos and fingerprints are sent over to help the Atomic officials launch their investigation.

With no obvious issues being seen for the shipping of the fake documents, they all make it to their destinations without issue. Those who make lives for themselves would find better paying jobs in the rural areas than in cities, as few people want to actually live in the rural areas. Overall, they would find life in the Great Lakes Republic to be relatively well off, with most people enjoying their lives and lifestyles. If they ever asked, the only complaints would be that people often move from the rural areas into the cities, and that there isn't always enough young people in some smaller towns to keep businesses operating these days. Aside from that people would be happy with their lives in the Great Lakes.

The Atomic Officials would respond they are unsure and are launching an investigation into the security breach of the borders, this would also be relayed to local police forces officials and openly to indicate the possibility of falsified IDs present in the Alliance. Officers would be informed to look for individuals carrying physical IDs as many Atomic IDs are digitized, they would only question persons who could be seen openly carrying their ID in plain view of the public.

Those who have obtained homes will note this information in a personal log but not make any communication outside of the country. These people would continue their lives normally avoiding any conflict with management/co-workers or Law Enforcement.

Given the recent occurance of falsified IDs being used to enter the Great Lakes, border security would be heightened, especially at Port Huron/Sarnia and Algonac/Walpole Island crossings. The purpose of this would be to prevent similar situations from happening again.

Providing those living in rural communities kept to themselves, they wouldn't encounter any significant issues.

No current attempts to cross the border with the same increased risk of fake documents would be occurring anymore, seemingly stopping after this first wave.

Those in Rural Communities would continue their lives avoiding major conflict and engaging in normal life in the community to establish a lifestyle.

With the Atomic agents now thoroughly imbedded into (rural) Great Lake society, life would return to normal at the borders, and things would progress without much to report.
