Scientists and Engineers conducting a joint project at Winnipegosis Institute have theorized a miniature PWR with an enclosed pressured steam turbine designed to cool the steam and reuse it again to spin the turbine, this PWR was designed to produce a consistent 2.5MW to meet demands on its intended platform. This theory paper was forwarded to the Atomic Government and received clearance to begin the construction of the reactor with the purpose of testing its electrical output for testing on an actual platform as the Winnipegosis Research Team has been collaborating with others on this project.

Engineer Students have begun assembling the reactor with general laborers, they have ordered parts with some already onsite. Reactor Enriched Uranium has been ordered for utilization in the PWR.

The Minature-Portable reactor prototype has been completed, this device will be shipped to the North Bay Airbase in Ontario. However, this prototype blueprints will be sent to the CANDU Corporation for further production in its Truck-based Reactor Prototype.

The CANDU Integral Molten Salt Reactor Type V

Type: Molten Salt Reactor / Variant: Denatured Molten Salt Reactor / Sub-Variant: Integral Molten Salt Reactor
Dimensions/No Fuel Weight = Shape: Cylindrical Shielding Shell // Inner Diameter = 3500mm/3.5m // Heigh = 7000mm/7m // Weight: 170 Tonne/170000kg
Turbine Weight (x2) = 10000kg (Turbine Inc. VST-100)
Fuel Type: Low-Enriched U235 in UF4/Uranium TetraFloride blended with Carrier Salts.
Lifespan: 7-Years - Reactor Swap
Full System Dimensions/Fueled Weight = Shape: Cylindrical Shielding Shell // Inner Diameter = 5000mm/5m // Heigh = 7000mm/7m // Weight: 200 Tonne/200000kg
Operating Temperature: 500-800oC (Low-Pressure Molten Coolant)
Minimum Generation Capacity = 100MW (50MW/Turbine)
Maximum Generation Capacity = 300MW (150MW/Turbine)

Reactor Stages;
Sealed Molten Primary Stage;
The Primary Stage of the CANDU-IMSR/5 is a Sealed Fuel-Coolant Shell with the UF4/Uranium TetraFloride circulating within the Carrier Salts flows upward through these tubular elements where it goes critical. After heating up in this moderated core the liquid fuel flows upward through a central common chimney and is then pulled downward by pumps through heat exchanges positioned inside the reactor vessel. The liquid fuel then flows down the outer edge of the reactor core to repeat the cycle. All the primary components, heat exchangers, pumps etc. are positioned inside the reactor vessel. The reactor’s integrated architecture avoids the use of external piping for the fuel that could leak or break.

Secondary Molten Exchange Loop:
The Molten Exchange Loop has its Primary Exchanger within the Ractor with detachable connections when the reactor is replaced, this Exchanger is connected to a Secondary Exchanger that is submerged within a PWL and will cause this loop to turn into steam while it cools the Molten Salts so that it can cool the Primary Molten Salts.

The Pressured Water Loop;
The PWL is looped through an exchanger immediately outside of the Reactor Shell where it is not at risk of being Radioactively contaminated, this Coolant will drop the temperature of the Coolant Salts while it evaporates into Steam immediately entering its Turbine Assembly, once it makes its way through the turbine the Coolant will be looped through a Consensor System (This is interchangeable based on its platform) and repeated.
