Universal Exhibition Inquiries

Bardeen Givargidze, PR specialist for the Bureau of International Exhibitions, has officially opened his doors to the Bureau's Outreach Centre in Damascus. Here he hopes to be able to answer any questions that nations may have for him. He invites representatives to visit him personally, but will also accept video calls and emails from those who have questions.

Pedro Solido, the NCR's Vice Minister for the Economy and Development, contacts Mr. Givargidze for a meeting, virtual or in person.
He'd like more informations specifically regarding the following points:
1. Who's and how is goin to pay the cost approximation;
2. If it can sprawl multiple cities or locations;
3. If multiple bids can be made (maybe in different locations, and/or differing conditions);
4. If private companies can make their own bid, provided they have the approval of the government where they reside in.

Mr. Givargidze would respond via video call, being more than happy to answer any questions the Californians have.

"Hello Minister Solido, it is so nice to speak with you today! Tell me, how is the weather where you are, lovely as usual, I presume? Good, good. Now, on to business. You have posed four main questions, yes? Here are the answers you are looking for. With regards to the financing, it is expected that the nation hosting the exhibition is to pay for it, and finance it themselves. We will, of course, pitch in to a certain extent, likely around 20-30%, but beyond that the nation hosting is expected to fund the exhibition. Loans with low interest rates will be made available to assist with the costs, if needed, but wealthy nations, such as California or San Romolo, who weathered the economic crisis relatively unscathed are less likely to be eligible for said loans.

"The exhibition may span multiple cities or locations, however only if a valid and viable reason is given. Such as being primarily driven by a cultural focus. That said, we strongly encourage all participants to focus on one main location for the exhibition, rather than multiple, as this will help keep costs down and is more likely to encourage visitors to attend. No one wants to have to travel to multiple locations just to see all aspects of the exhibition. We will still consider those spanning multiple locations, however.

"We will only accept one bid from each nation. The bid must be sponsored by the legitimate national government of said nation. We will not recognize bids made by private organizations, internal regional governments (states, provinces, or municipalities), or unrecognized states. Current unrecognized states include places such as the Republic of Socotra, a breakaway state which is officially recognized as being part of the Himyarite Kingdom. As much as certain nations may not like this ruling, bids from non-democratic states, such as Alberta, the Feng Empire, the Tamil Trifecta, Manchuria, and others, are welcomed and accepted, and will be treated with the same level of legitimacy and consideration as all other applications.

"I believe that answers all your questions, did you have any other questions at this time?"

<<It was a pleasure speaking and doing business with you, Mr. Givargidze!>> the VM says, smiling.
<<At the moment we don't have any more questions. I thank you for your time, and I hope we will be able to propose our bid soon!>>

"The pleasure was all mine. Have a great day Minister Solido, and we look forward to receiving your bid in the near future!" Givargidze would then end the call.

Following the video call Givargidze would publish the information he provided online so that it was accessible for all nations to view.
