Another Year, Another Declaration

This morning, the Far Eastern Republic of Transamur has once again put out a joint statement from the President and the Fleet Admiral, claiming Transamur as the rightful government of Russia. This declaration marks the twelfth year since the State Duma of Russia fled to the eastern city of Vladivostok and marks the start of Transamur's next elections. Dmitry Semenov, the current presiding president, will run again for his fourth term in office. Time will tell if the opposition to Semenov in the State Duma is able to provide a candidate to run against the president.
